Feedtech Auto Feeders - Static Units
Our Auto Feeders are Designed, Engineered and Built by Feedtech Feeding Systems. Our Auto Feeders are built tough and robust and with over 27 years' experience in building feed systems we know our stuff.
Features Include -
- 240v or 24V DC Solar Option.
2x 120Ah Batteries & 1x 440W Panels on Units up to 30mt Long, longer units run 2x 210Ah batteries & 2x 440w Panels.
- Solar units have Victron Solar smart controller which gives you the ability to Bluetooth into the controller information i.e volts and other important information.
- Solid construction for Australian conditions.
- Lowline Roof.
- 1.4mt wide roof.
- Lockable Cabinet that houses Motor, Gearbox & Controller.
- Easily able to be assembled ** 21mt to 30mt Unit approx 6 hours.
- Available in 3mt trough sections so you can extend your feed system. - Units available from 3mt to 57mt Long.
Concrete Slab - we recommend that the static units are assembled on a concrete slab and then bolted down. Slab would be 1mt longer than your auto feeder, 2.5mt wide & 100mm thick.
Head Spacings
Head spacings vary depending on the type of feeding i.e feedlotting, induction or containment feeding. We recommend you seek professional advice.
Feedlotting -
If allowing a minimum of 5cm per head so for example a 3mt section of trough and feeding from both sides would feed 120 head.
Containment / Induction -
If allowing a minimum of 15cm head spacings (size of animal may vary this). Example if allowing 15cm per head a 3mt section of trough and feeding from both sides would feed 40 head.

Feed Control System for Induction & Controlled Feeding.
Fully automated Flap system that covers your trough system prior to the Auto Feeder operating, once the system switches off the Flaps automatically raise and your livestock all get to eat at the same time receiving the same amount of feed.
This feature can be turned off for Feedlot Feeding.
